guys, I've just read somewhere that if you raise the temp in a tank with pregnant fish they will give birth quicker. Any truth in this? thanks J x

As with all marine life their motabolisms and growth quickens at higher temps.

To be honest there can also be issues with organs not forming properly and lower survival rates so better off just waiting the few extra days!

My guppy had sum babies other day, but she is shown signs of bein in labour again...is that possible. I have read it sumwhere but cant mind the site I was on!

How long since the last one was born??

I have no idea how fish n babies work - have never had pregnant fish before!! Had to move female guppy from main tank yesterday - in mid labour - cos an endler was picking the babies outta her!! couldn't stand watching that so she had to be moved back in to the breeding tank! Crying or Very sad
